• The 1st – 4th gear ratios in our standard ratio 5 speed package are practically the same as 1st – 4th in the Jaguar E Type all synchro 4 speed gearbox. This means they are ideally suited to the power curve of the Jaguar inline 6 cylinder engine unlike many other gearboxes, such as the Cosworth box, which were originally designed for 4 cylinder engines that needed high revs to make power.
